Al ShiptonVice President Marketing and Sales
Al has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Math and Computer Science, and an MBA. Starting in 1974, Al worked as a Systems Analyst and in 1979, began working in the field of Human Resources and Labour Relations.
At AltaSteel since 1988, Al was appointed Vice President Finance and Administration in 1997. He assumed his current position as Vice President Marketing and Sales in 2006, which includes responsibility for Production Planning, Shipping, Yard and Track Operations, Purchasing, Information Technology, Marketing and Sales.
