AltaSteel is an innovative producer of flat, round, and square steel bar products to a variety of customers and applications, with particular emphasis on niche markets in the:
- mining industry (grinding media);
- oil & gas industry (sucker rod); and
- OEM automotive industry (flats for leaf springs).
AltaSteel also produces various grades of round bar for supply to steel distribution sales centres, and rebar in various diameters for the construction industry.
Our state-of-the-art Bar Mill gives us the capability to roll smaller production runs, and manufacture a wide variety of product sizes and shapes to satisfy different customer requirements.
AltaSteel's metallurgical expertise and experience allows us to evaluate customer needs, supply them with the specific grade of steel for their particular application, and provide the "best fit" of product to satisfy their requirements.
