August - September 2016:  AltaSteel raises $6,897 for Various Charity

Over August, and wrapping up in September of this year, the AltaSteel Fundraising Committee held 4 successful events to raise funds for 4 select charities. The events included a Perogy Lunch, Ice Cream Sundae Sale, BBQ Lunch and a Penny Wars competition. We are pleased to announce that the total funds donated by our employees throughout these events were $3,563.95! In addition to the money raised by our employees, AltaSteel donated $3,333.95 to make a grand total of $6,897.90  for our Summer Fundraising Campaign. The money raised was donated directly to The Edmonton, Humane Society, Youth Emergency and Support Services, The Canadian Red Cross and The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

May 9 2016:  AltaSteel raises $7,400 for Fort McMurray

On Friday May 6, 2016  AltaSteel held a  fundraiser to raise money for the victims of the Fort McMurray forest fires, and it was the most successful fundraiser AltaSteel has had to date!  The total funds raised at the Hot Dog Sale were $3,700!! This was solely based on the generosity of the AltaSteel employees.

AltaSteel was pleased to match the donation made by our employees, making the Grand Total raised:

$7,400!!!!
