Condition Monitoring Technician

I started with AltaSteel in February 2006. I came to Alberta in 2004 from New Brunswick after the plant I worked in closed. I have been a Millwright for 35 years, working in New Brunswick, Ontario and Alberta.

I spent most of my first seven years as part of the Bar Mill maintenance crew. I now hold the position of Condition Monitoring Technician in the Reliability Services department. Since then, AltaSteel has supported me through training in order to achieve my category II CM Tech certification.

I enjoy working for AltaSteel as there are many opportunities to advance your career and there are many good people who work here. In addition, I appreciate working for a company that is being led in a solid direction and ensures their future stability in this economy.
