Sales Support Coordinator
The Sales Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both sales operations and production planning activities to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This position coordinates production schedules, monitors inventory and capacity, and provides critical sales administrative support including order processing, customer data management, and delivery coordination.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Coordinate order fulfillment timelines between Sales, Production, and Logistics to ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
- Support the review of production capacity, identify areas for improvement, and contribute ideas to help optimize resources and reduce downtime.
- Track production progress and ensure alignment with customer delivery schedules.
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including preparing sales orders, order confirmations, and related documentation.
- Enter, update, and maintain customer order and pricing information in sales and operational systems.
- Communicate production status, delays, or changes in availability to Sales and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Compile reports and provide data insights to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Communicate regularly with the Manager, Sales to ensure alignment between sales commitments and production capability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a sales coordination, or sales administration role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QMOS or similar systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage competing deadlines.
- Experience supporting sales teams with administrative and order management tasks is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
Job Details
- Full-time permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Full time in-office/operations, in Edmonton Alberta (no remote or hybrid)
- Pre-employment alcohol and drug test required with zero tolerance policy
- Criminal Record background check required
